The Pisanchyn Law Firm concentrates on plaintiff personal injury cases but does offer other legal services. These areas of practice include: Auto Accidents, Tractor Trailer Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents, Medical Malpractice, Birth Injuries, Brain Injuries, Child Abuse, Wrongful Death, Animal Bites, Slip, Trip, and Fall Accidents, Workers’ Compensation, Heart and Lung Act, Act 632/534, Social Security, and Criminal Law.
We are currently looking for qualified applicants for the following positions:
Legal Secretary - An extremely busy, growing and prominent personal injury law firm is seeking a legal secretary to work out of its Scranton, PA office. Experience handling personal injury and workers' compensation matters is preferred but not required. Must be detail oriented, self motivated and posses a strong work ethic. The work requires knowledge of legal, secretarial, and office practices.
- Duties include (but are not limited to)- Employees in this job coordinate office activities for multiple Attorneys, performing a variety of legal secretarial duties, including but not limited to, maintaining attorney's calendar, logging in and scanning mail, answering phones, preparing client intakes, transcription of dictation, preparing correspondence and providing information and direction to others. .
- Qualifications- high school dipoloma and relevant work experience. Must have excellent communication, computer and organizational skills.
